Bhopal: Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, commenced its two-day Annual Day celebrations with a grand cultural extravaganza titled ‘Pratidhavni – The Vibrating Virtues’. The event beautifully blended creativity, learning, and values, taking the audience into the vibrant world of virtues through the engaging narration of the iconic duo — Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu — who acted as the sootradhar throughout the program.
Based on the theme of character building through the 4H virtues — Humility, Humanity, Honesty, and Harmony — the performances reflected the school’s strong emphasis on nurturing moral values along with academic and artistic excellence.
Over 1,000 Sagarites showcased their talents in a series of captivating presentations in the presence of Priya Parikh, Indian Accounts and Audit Services, Government of India, as the Chief Guest for the day, leaving the audience enthralled.
The celebration began with ‘Pravah – Jal Se Jan Tak’, a thought-provoking act that connected the rivers of India and conveyed the message of water conservation, symbolising the virtue of Humility. This was followed by ‘Elixir of Life’, a dance presentation that transported the audience to different parts of the world, weaving together the essence of Humanity.
The next presentation, ‘The Alchemy of Heart’, inspired by the story of Peter Pan, beautifully conveyed Honesty as the foundation of a positive outlook and imaginative spirit. The evening further unfolded with ‘The Shades of Emotions’, an enthralling depiction of seven rasas—Veer, Vatsalya, Raudra, Hasya, and others—culminating in the virtue of Harmony, symbolising emotional balance and unity in diversity.
The Chief Guest Priya Parikh lauded the efforts of students and teachers for curating such an inspiring and value-driven showcase. Principal Prachi Varma presented the school’s annual report, highlighting its academic, cultural, and co-curricular achievements.
The evening culminated in a spectacular Grand Finale – Threads of Gratitude, a musical odyssey celebrating the virtues through emotions, pride, and reverence for the school’s rich cultural and moral heritage.
Headmistress Rupinder Arora proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to parents, staff, and students for their tireless contributions. The event concluded with the soulful rendition of the School Anthem, wrapping up the first day of celebrations on a note of joy, pride, and reflection
