Sometimes, in the fast pace of life, we don’t even get time to meet ourselves. But when we pause, deeply feel our breaths, and listen to the voice of our hearts, we realize that connection is not limited to humans alone—it extends to every living being breathing on this earth.
This realization was brought to life by Vale of Dogs Foundation and Move Feel Breathe recently, through a program held at Studio In Grey, Indore. The event gave participants not only the opportunity to deeply connect with their inner and outer worlds through yoga and meditation but also raised awareness and empathy towards street dogs.
Started in 2022 from Indore, the Vale of Dogs Foundation has, in a short time, carried out commendable work in the care, treatment, and rescue of street dogs. A small initiative by Tejaswini and Devansh has today transformed into a large family, where volunteers and animal lovers together dream of improving the lives of street dogs.
Similarly, Move Feel Breathe, started by Mansvi and Priyanka, is a platform designed to promote self-reflection and the feeling of connecting with oneself. Through various exercises and activities, it provides individuals the opportunity to understand themselves and emotionally connect with others.
On this occasion, Tejaswini and Devansh said, “Move Feel Breathe is a platform that gives an opportunity to understand oneself and express one’s emotions in a better way. Compassion and sensitivity start from within us, and when these turn into action, their positive impact is not just on humans but also on community animals who are an integral part of our lives.”
Mansvi and Priyanka jointly stated, “In Move Feel Breathe, connection doesn’t only mean with humans but with all living beings around us. Street dogs may not speak our language, but their love and healing presence can be clearly felt. They remind us every day that Move Feel Breathe is all about running freely, loving from the heart, and living openly.”
During the event, participants engaged in activities like yoga, breathwork, and meditation for self-reflection. The objective of the session was to help participants understand that empathy should not be limited to humans but extended to other living beings around us as well. Experts also provided important information related to dog care, such as how packed biscuits, fried foods, and cooked chicken bones can be extremely harmful to their health.
This event not only focused on mental and emotional balance but also proved to be a significant awareness initiative for animal welfare. Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the collaboration between Move Feel Breathe and Well of Dogs teaches us that self-connection and sensitivity toward living beings are two sides of the same coin.
