Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the world-famous Maa Sharda Mata Temple in Maihar and offered prayers with traditional rituals. After seeking the blessings of Maa Sharda, he prayed for the prosperity, happiness and well-being of the people of Madhya Pradesh.
Following the prayers, the temple management and district administration honoured CM Dr. Yadav by presenting him with a portrait of Maa Sharda. The Chief Minister also inspected the arrangements at the temple premises and reviewed the facilities available for devotees, including darshan arrangements and other amenities.
CM Dr. Yadav said that Maihar, the sacred city of Maa Sharda, is a major centre of faith for devotees from across Madhya Pradesh and the country.
CM prayed that Maa Sharda’s blessings always remain upon the people of the state and that Madhya Pradesh continues to progress and advance on the path of development. The Chief Minister said that the construction of Maa Sharda Lok will boost religious tourism in Maihar, create employment opportunities for local people and strengthen the district’s economy.
