BHOPAL: Marking half a decade dedicated to the pursuit of managerial excellence, the BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies (BSSS IAS), celebrated its 5th Foundation Day on 3 August 2026. The premier business school marked five years of striving for educational distinction, moulding future leaders, and fostering comprehensive skill development alongside industry and academic collaboration across the globe.
The grand occasion also hosted the certificate award ceremony for the Post Graduate Programme in Managerial Capacity Building (PGP MCB), an add-on skilling programme for young graduates.
The celebratory event was adorned by a distinguished panel of leaders spanning academic domains, corporate management, and international institutes.
Rev. Dr. A. A. Sebastian Durairaj, Chairman of BSSS IAS and Archbishop of Bhopal, in his thought provoking address reflected on the institution’s remarkable trajectory of growth and its landmark achievements.
He further emphasised upon the necessity of technological adaptation along with deepening of ties with industry sectors and the broader community.
Chief Guest Prof. Arun Diwakar Nath Bajpai, former Vice-Chancellor of ABV University (Bilaspur), highlighted how higher education drives national development in his keynote address and encouraged students and faculty to stay grounded to your roots.
Adding international and corporate prominence to the lineup, the Guests of Honour featured Mr. Raj K. Singh, Managing Director & CEO of IDBI Capital Markets & Securities Ltd.; Ms. Anna Yanovskaya, Director of Admissions at Synergy University (Moscow, Russia); and Mr. Sekar R., Vice President of HR at Sundaram Finance Ltd.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, Fr. Dr. John P.J., Executive Director, described it as a moment dedicated to remembrance and tribute. In his address to the audience, he emphasized that this milestone serves as a compelling call to embody the institution’s core guiding principle of service, encouraging both students and educators to actively champion brilliance across all endeavours.
The event witnessed official unveiling of the BSSS IAS International Journal of Management and Research, & the launch of two new Executive programmes – Post Graduate Programme in Corporate Governance and Post Graduate Programme in Agri-Business & Sustainability management offered by Synergy University Russia.
The occasion also marked the release of five books authored by its faculty members. As BSSS IAS transitions into its sixth year of operation, the institution reasserts its unwavering dedication to cutting-edge education, continuous innovation, and global outreach. The institute has established a formidable presence throughout the region, rapidly solidifying its reputation as one of the country’s most dynamically rising business schools for transformative education, management training and academic leadership.
