Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the State Government has launched an ambitious project to provide round-the-clock renewable energy, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the state’s clean energy journey.
He said that, in line with the commitment made at Davos, Madhya Pradesh is moving rapidly towards ensuring the availability of 24-hour green energy. Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the pre-bid meeting for the 24-hour Renewable Energy Project, held at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi, from Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s Residence).
The meeting in New Delhi was attended by Minister for New and Renewable Energy Rakesh Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava, and representatives of various companies.
MP has Best Track Record
The Chief Minister said that the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project achieved the country’s lowest solar tariff and brought global recognition to India. He said that Shajapur and Neemuch Solar Parks recorded the state’s lowest tariff at Rs 2.14 per unit.
He further said that the recently signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the four-hour storage-plus project in Morena, at a tariff of Rs 2.70 per unit, is among the most competitive energy storage projects in the country.

Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing investors with transparent policies, swift decision-making and world-class infrastructure. He invited investors from India and abroad to become partners in Madhya Pradesh’s clean energy transformation.

The Chief Minister said that the government’s objective is not merely to establish new projects but to make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in green energy, energy security and sustainable development.
Expressing confidence in the initiative, Dr. Yadav said that the 24-hour Renewable Energy Project, backed by the successful experience of Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project and collective efforts of all stakeholders, would prove to be a landmark initiative in strengthening India’s energy security and promoting green development.
Representatives of Tata Power, Reliance Energy, Torrent Power, Jindal Renewable, NTPC, Adani Green, Hindustan Power and Mahindra Susten, among others, participated in the pre-bid meeting in New Delhi.
