With the aim of raising public awareness regarding environmental conservation and sustainable development, NITTTR Bhopal has produced an awareness film based on “Mission LiFE” (Lifestyle for Environment)—an initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The film seeks to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle and sensitize society to its responsibilities towards nature. Mission LiFE is a global mass movement led by India, aimed at inspiring people to adopt environmentally responsible and sustainable lifestyles. The initiative encourages a shift away from “mindless and destructive consumption” habits towards “environmentally conscious and responsible consumption.”
Dr. C.C. Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, stated that Mission LiFE is not merely a campaign for environmental conservation but also inspires citizens to adopt a balanced and responsible lifestyle in harmony with nature. He noted that even small efforts made at the individual level can bring about significant positive changes in tackling environmental challenges, and the institute is committed to spreading awareness in this regard.
Prof. P.K. Purohit, Dean (Corporate and International Relations), explained that the film produced by the institute would serve as a medium to convey the core message of Mission LiFE to the general public. The film illustrates how behavioral changes—at both individual and collective levels—can contribute to building a sustainable future.
