The observance was marked by the inauguration of SAATH by Dr. Fr. John P. J., Principal, BSSS College, a new holistic well-being initiative. It aims to extend the Counseling Services of the existing Counseling Cell of the Department of Psychology. A central highlight of the event was a panel discussion on lived experiences, moderated by Dr. Vinay Mishra, where panelists shared powerful personal stories of recovery and hope, underscoring the importance of breaking stigma and seeking support.
The program also featured a skit on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with expressive performances that celebrated self-acceptance, healing, and resilience. Additionally, Dev Aharam, the college’s humanitarian initiative providing breakfast to patients at AIIMS Hospital, was highlighted as a testament to BSSS’s commitment to service and compassion beyond academics.
