A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, and the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The agreement aims to enhance academic quality, administrative efficiency, and the employability skills of students within higher education institutions. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, and Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar.
Through this agreement, NITTTR, Bhopal, and the Department of Higher Education will jointly conduct training programs for capacity building among teachers, administrative officers, and staff in government colleges and universities across the state.
The initiative aims to promote the National Education Policy (NEP), outcome-based education, research methodology, modern teaching techniques, e-governance, office automation, Management Information Systems (MIS), and digital administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. CC Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, stated that the continuous professional development of teachers and academic administrators, in alignment with the National Education Policy, is the need of the hour. NITTTR Bhopal is collaborating with the Department of Higher Education to conduct training programs that mark a significant step toward elevating Madhya Pradesh’s higher education system to new heights of quality, innovation, and excellence.
Dr. P.K. Purohit, the Madhya Pradesh Coordinator for NITTTR Bhopal, remarked that this agreement with the Department of Higher Education is a crucial initiative aimed at strengthening the state’s higher education system and aligning it with future requirements.
NITTTR Bhopal has been consistently conducting training programs in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Department of Higher Education for several years. To date, the institute has organized over 100 training programs, training more than 3,500 participants—including principals, professors, assistant professors, librarians, laboratory technicians, students, and other administrative and technical staff.
Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department; Commissioner Prabal Sipaha; Dr. Manoj Singh; and Major Nishant Ojha from NITTTR Bhopal were present on this occasion.
