Bhopal: Following the remarkable success of last year, the ArtDesign Teachers’ Forum is once again organising a five-day residential creative workshop titled “Moving Forms – WorkCamp” from 11th to 15th May 2026 at the Azim Premji University campus, Bhopal, with the aim of bringing a fresh perspective to art education.
The WorkCamp is being organised in collaboration with Azim Premji University, Bhopal, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, and the National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh.
The objective of this workshop is to provide art educators with a shared platform to explore new possibilities in creative teaching through art, craft, and design. This five-day residential programme will offer participants an opportunity to interact and work closely with experienced artists, designers, artisans, and educators.
The WorkCamp will include activity-based sessions, collaborative group work, processes related to folk art and crafts, as well as cultural and interactive engagements that will help broaden participants’ creative perspectives.
Curator Sunil Shukla shared that the proposed residential WorkCamp will feature sessions conducted by renowned artists, faculty members from Azim Premji University and NID Bhopal, artisans from Odisha and Rajasthan, and experts from NCERT, New Delhi—making it a distinctive and enriching experience.
The WorkCamp is primarily intended for art and design teachers from Madhya Pradesh. However, a limited number of teachers from other states, recent art graduates (MFA, BDes/MDes) interested in teaching, and professional artists working with children are also invited to apply.
Selection will be based on applications received, considering interest, experience, and diversity. Interested participants can apply through a Google Form. Registration is free, and the last date to apply is 30 April. For more information, contact: 8989649700.
