
Operation Sindoor: India has retaliated against the terrorist organizations of Pakistan. Indian Air Force carried out air strikes inside Pakistan and PoK, i.e. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, after midnight on Tuesday.
The Indian Army said that only terrorist hideouts were attacked in the strike. No Pakistani military base was attacked. Sources said that only Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar hideouts were selected as targets.
After midnight on Tuesday, the loud bomb blasts were heard in Muzaffarabad city of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) and its surrounding hilly areas. After these bomb blasts, electricity was cut off in the entire city. According to the information, these blasts were the result of missile strikes carried out by the Indian Army.
In this attack, 9 terrorist hideouts in 7 cities have been targeted. According to the information received so far, more than 100 terrorists have been killed in this.
This retaliatory action of India taken place 15 days after the Pahalgam attack and it has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’. This name is dedicated to those women whose husbands were killed by terrorists on 22 April in Pahalgam.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan can protect itself. But if India stops, we will also stop.
Director of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said, India has fired 24 missiles. Sources said PM Modi kept monitoring Operation Sindoor throughout the night.
Indian authorities said in a statement that our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution. These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable.
