Netflix film Gandhari has achieved Global No. 1 on the Non-English Movies Charts, recording 9.6 million views and 18.7 million watch hours in its second week. This marks a significant rise from 5.9 million views and 11.5 million watch hours in week one.
According to official global data published by Netflix, the film has recorded the highest single-week viewership for an Indian Netflix Original film. It ranks No. 1 in 17 countries and features in the top 10 across 58 countries.
The achievement marks Kanika Dhillon’s fourth consecutive Netflix blockbuster and Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon’s third successful collaboration after Haseen Dillruba and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.
Produced by Kathha Pictures and directed by Devashish Makhija, Gandhari follows a mother’s relentless quest to rescue her kidnapped child. The film is streaming globally on Netflix.
