Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the next Cabinet meeting will be held on Sunday, July 19, at Jagdishpur (formerly Islam Nagar) in Bhopal district. The meeting will primarily deliberate on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill, which he described as an important step towards the vision of ‘One Nation, One Law, One Leader’.
The Chief Minister said that the Monsoon Session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly will commence on July 20 and continue until July 24, during which 14 Bills have been listed for introduction. He directed all ministers to ensure that the legislative proposals of their respective departments are fully prepared in time. Dr. Yadav was addressing ministers before the Cabinet meeting at Mantralaya.
Suggestions Invited from Citizens for ‘Youth Year 2027’
CM announced that 2027 will be celebrated as ‘Youth Year’ in Madhya Pradesh. Suggestions from the people of the state are being invited on activities and innovative initiatives to be undertaken during the year, and suitable proposals will be incorporated into the action plan for 2027. He also invited suggestions from ministers on introducing innovative and farmer-centric initiatives during the ongoing Farmer Welfare Year 2026.
Modern Technology Has Made Urban Administration Simpler and More Transparent
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the Urban Development and Housing Department for receiving the prestigious Silver Award in the Cyber Security category at the National e-Governance Awards 2026.
CM Mohan Yadav also stated that on July 12, the plantation of 21 lakh saplings and the installation of 51,000 rainwater harvesting units were launched in Indore. He said the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and the large-scale initiative to conserve water, forests and the environment would serve as a model for the nation. He added that this was the third year of the campaign in Indore, with public participation growing each year.
Pithampur Has Emerged as Madhya Pradesh’s Industrial Growth Engine
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said Pithampur had witnessed the inauguration of two major industrial projects—the fourth manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation and the new manufacturing plant of LiuGong India Private Limited. He said Kisan Irrigation manufactures advanced pipes, drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation systems, while LiuGong India is among the leading manufacturers of heavy earthmoving equipment.
Conclave of Digital Content Creators and Influencers Held
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the ‘My Youth–My Pride Conclave’ was organised in Indore on July 11, bringing together more than 200 digital content creators and influencers from Indore, Ujjain, Dhar and other parts of the Malwa-Nimar region. He also announced the decision to institute Digital Content Awards to encourage digital influencers from Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 commenced in Bhopal on July 13. He said the conclave paved the way for investments of approximately Rs 40,000 crore, with the potential to generate more than 34,000 employment opportunities.
Madhya Pradesh’s Kranti Goud Plays Key Role in India’s Historic Victory
Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the Indian Women’s Cricket Team on its emphatic 270-run victory over England in the Test match played at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground, often referred to as the Home of Cricket. He noted that it was the first women’s Test match at Lord’s in the venue’s 142-year history, adding that India’s daughters had brought great pride to the nation.
The Chief Minister highlighted the outstanding contribution of Madhya Pradesh’s Kranti Goud, who claimed five wickets in the first innings and seven wickets in the match, earning the Player of the Match award. He extended special congratulations to Kranti Goud and said the historic triumph of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team had made not only Madhya Pradesh but the entire nation proud.
