Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will engage with leading domestic and international textile investors, industry representatives and global brands at Bharat Tex 2026, to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from July 14 to 17, to accelerate investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Through one-to-one business meetings, roundtable discussions, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and investor interactions, the State Government will undertake targeted initiatives to attract new investments in the textile, garment and footwear sectors.
Madhya Pradesh’s dedicated pavilion at Bharat Tex 2026 will showcase the state’s industry-friendly policies, modern industrial infrastructure, skill development initiatives, the PM MITRA Park, and its integrated textile value chain to the global textile industry.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, during his one-to-one meetings with leading textile and garment companies from India and abroad, will hold detailed discussions on new investments, expansion of manufacturing capacity, export promotion, employment generation and technological collaboration.
Union Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh will also be present on the occasion. Several important MoUs aimed at promoting investment, skill development, exports and industrial collaboration are expected to be signed. In addition, a number of national and international companies are likely to express their interest in participating and investing during the Global Investors Summit, scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh in January 2027.
A special roundtable meeting at Bharat Tex 2026 will also be significant for Madhya Pradesh, with participation expected from more than 100 industrialists, investors and representatives of textile and garment industry associations.
The discussions will focus on export promotion, global competitiveness, sustainable manufacturing, logistics, skill development and investment. The suggestions received from industry stakeholders will help shape the State Government’s future strategy for expanding the textile sector and attracting greater investment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also highlight Madhya Pradesh’s key strengths that have positioned it among India’s leading textile investment destinations. The state offers a complete textile value chain—from cotton production to spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment manufacturing.
Madhya Pradesh’s status as India’s largest producer of organic cotton, its rapidly developing ‘Farm to Fashion’ textile ecosystem, and the PM MITRA Park being developed over nearly 2,158 acres in Dhar district will be showcased as major attractions for global investors.
Investors will also be briefed on the incentives available for the textile, garment and footwear sectors, including capital investment support, interest subsidies, electricity duty reimbursement, land-related concessions and other industrial incentives.
Through Bharat Tex 2026, Madhya Pradesh aims to attract fresh investments, generate greater employment opportunities, expand exports and foster long-term industrial partnerships in the textile sector. With this objective, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will invite industry leaders to participate in the Global Investors Summit in January 2027 and become partners in the state’s industrial growth journey.
