Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Pithampur Industrial Area is a key pillar of Madhya Pradesh’s industrial strength. Companies such as Kisan Irrigation & Infrastructure Ltd are providing fresh momentum to investment, employment generation and technological advancement in the State.
He said that the Madhya Pradesh Government is committed to providing an industry-friendly environment that promotes investment and sustainable industrial growth. The Chief Minister said, “Our priority is to generate employment for youth through industrial development, provide farmers with access to modern technologies, and further strengthen the State’s economy.”
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of modern irrigation technologies. He said that advanced piping, drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation systems are highly beneficial for farmers. He expressed confidence that the new manufacturing unit would play an important role in strengthening water management and improving irrigation efficiency in the agriculture sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the fourth manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation & Infrastructure Ltd. in the Pithampur Industrial Area of Dhar district on Wednesday. He also offered prayers at the Shiva temple located within the factory premises in accordance with Vedic rituals.
CM said that the commissioning of the new unit would further accelerate industrial activity in the Pithampur Industrial Area. The new unit will create employment opportunities at the local level while boosting the production of advanced products for the agriculture and water management sectors. He said that Madhya Pradesh would continue to scale new heights of development through the convergence of industry, agriculture and technology.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also toured the new manufacturing facility and reviewed the state-of-the-art machinery being used for pipe production. The Chief Minister appreciated the company’s contribution to agriculture, irrigation and water management and congratulated its management on the expansion.
Managing Director of the company, Kunal Agrawal, informed that Kisan Irrigation & Infrastructure Ltd. was established nearly four decades ago. The company currently operates five manufacturing units, four of which are located in Pithampur. It manufactures PVC, HDPE, CPVC and UPVC pipes and fittings, as well as water tanks, drip irrigation systems and sprinkler irrigation systems.
The newly inaugurated fourth manufacturing unit will produce HDPE and DWC pipes, supplying advanced products for the agriculture, irrigation and infrastructure sectors.
