The Cadence Music Festival 2026, held at the prestigious campus of Whistling Woods International, concluded on a high note. The three-day festival, held from March 30 to April 1, transformed the campus into a vibrant hub of music, rhythm, and creative energy. Both industry stalwarts and students hailed the festival as a grand success.
Founded by visionary filmmaker Subhash Ghai, the festival once again fulfilled its objective of bridging the gap between legendary artists and emerging talent.
The festival commenced with a soulful performance by renowned singer Kailash Kher, setting a spiritual and energetic tone. The excitement peaked on the second day when legendary singer Sonu Nigam shared the stage with celebrated music composer duo Salim–Sulaiman. This remarkable collaboration turned the campus into a live masterclass, showcasing the nuances, techniques, and emotions of music.
The festival concluded on April 1 with a powerful and electrifying performance by iconic singer Sukhwinder Singh, who brought the event to a thrilling climax. Earlier, noted flautist Naveen Kumar captivated the audience with his melodious performance. Sukhwinder Singh’s dynamic stage presence ensured a grand and memorable finale.
With the presence of such esteemed artists, Whistling Woods International once again reinforced its position as a leading institution in performing arts. The festival presented a unique blend of traditional and contemporary music styles, offering students an invaluable and immersive learning experience.
