MP: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Karila Dham in Ashoknagar district is a remarkable confluence of faith, devotion and spirituality. At this sacred place, Mata Sita is enshrined along with her sons, Luv and Kush, making it the only temple in the country where Mata Sita is worshipped together with both her sons.
CM said that while most temples in the country are dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, Karila Dham holds a unique significance. It is also believed to be the birthplace of Luv-Kush and stands as a witness to their childhood pastimes. CM said that a comprehensive development plan will be prepared for this sacred site.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed devotees at the Rang Panchami Mela Mahotsav at Karila Dham in Ashoknagar district on Sunday. He offered prayers at the Janaki Temple and announced development works worth Rs 115 crore for the district.
Chief MinisterDr. Yadav said that Mata Sita symbolises patience, courage, and self-respect. Whenever the strength and dignity of women are discussed, the example of Mata Sita comes to mind. She conveyed the message that a woman’s self-respect is her greatest strength.
