Nitya Thakur of St. Joseph’s Convent School, Idgah Hills, Bhopal, has been selected for the Madhya Pradesh team. She will now represent the state in the Junior National Championship to be held in Pilani, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, from December 16 to 21.
The Open State Volleyball Competition was held in Narsinghpur from December 6 to 10. In this competition, St. Joseph’s students– Nitya Thakur, Vrinda Gurbani, Shaili Sawant, and Kinjal Thakur–represented the school in the RCC Bhopal team, and the team emerged victorious in the Open State competition.
School Principal Sister Lily, Headmistress Sister Stania, Head Volleyball Coach Ravdeep Singh, and coaches Jitendra Shukla and Shraddha Patil expressed their happiness at Nitya’s selection.
All the teachers of the school also expressed their joy and encouraged Nitya to perform even better in the future.
