The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organizing “Seva Parv 2025” as a nationwide celebration from September 17 to October 2, 2025. This celebration is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India 2047 and aims to engage communities, organizations, and individuals in a collective movement of service, creativity, and cultural pride.
Under the theme “Colors of a Developed India, with Art,” the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur, is organizing one-day painting workshops in the states under its jurisdiction. The theme of these workshops is “Seva Parv – Vision of a Developed India.” A painting workshop for people of all ages, artists, and students will be held in Nagpur on September 26, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the South Central Zone Cultural Centre campus.
On the same day, a special workshop will be held at the Government College of Art and Design, Nagpur, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with over 100 professional artists from the Nagpur division participating. Participants will present a unique blend of tradition and the theme of national development.
In the same series, a one-day painting workshop will be held on September 24, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, at Shilpgram in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, where school students and young participants will paint the vision of a developed India on canvas.
One-day painting workshops will also be held in Wardha, Maharashtra, on September 27, 2025, and in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, on September 29, 2025. Interested participants from across the country can participate in these events in large numbers and upload photographs of their artwork on the portal (amritkaal.nic.in/sewa-parv-individual-participants).
