Sandipani Malav Kanya Vidyalaya Indore has bagged the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)’s Excellence National Level School Award. The Alliance for Re-Imagining School Education Award (ARISE) is FICCI’s prestigious award.
The school has been given the award for innovating in the field of skills development for the future, going beyond academic subjects in children. The children of the school are being taught coding in computers. Along with this, new techniques of communication and creative are being taught.
The children of government schools are being prepared for the future by developing skills. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who recently went to the Space Station from India, was also present in the program held at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi along with many educationists.
It is a matter of pride for the state that among the one thousand schools of the country, Indore’s Sandipani Vidyalaya has won this award through its innovative program. The award was received by Principal Ramkrishna Kori and his team.
This program is being run in the government schools of the state with the help of People Foundation to make children proficient in computers. Former Education Secretary of the Central Government Anita Karwal and Chairperson of National Council of Teacher Education Prof. Pankaj Arora were also among the jury members.
