Indore’s Vidya Sagar School has officially announced its grand VOSA (Vidya Sagar Old Student Association) Meet, which will take place on October 25, 2025. The announcement was made during an internal alumni planning meet held recently, setting the tone for a nostalgic and forward-looking celebration.
Sharing details of the upcoming event, Principal Mrs. Bhavna Pujari highlighted that this year’s meet will hold special significance, as the school will felicitate the Batch of 2000 for completing 25 years of their association with the school, marking their Silver Jubilee. She added that the event would also see the reunion of all ex-faculty members who served in the school during the year 2000, further enriching the spirit of connection between former students and their mentors.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Prayatna Jain, current President of the Alumni Association, announced a key reform in the leadership structure of VOSA. He stated that from this year onwards, a select group of mentors, including himself, will continue to serve as Permanent Office Bearers of VOSA to ensure consistency and legacy preservation. He further explained that all other positions within the association would now operate on a rotational basis, giving the younger generation of alumni an opportunity to lead, while being guided by experienced seniors.
The meeting was marked by the presence of several distinguished personalities. Mr. Tushar Bandi, Ex-Vice President of VOSA, expressed his wholehearted support for the new structure. Acharya Vedica Shrivastava, renowned educator and spiritual guide, emphasized the importance of alumni engagement in value-based institutional growth. Social activist and NGO founder Mr. Deepak Sharma shared his perspective on integrating community initiatives into alumni activities. Mr. Vinod Patel, a senior alumnus and current member of the school’s management team, assured complete administrative support to alumni-led efforts.
The school’s leadership was further represented by Vice-Principal Mr. Mukul Golwalkar and Senior Teacher Mr. Lalit Shah, whose presence reflected the continued commitment of the school’s academic team to strengthening alumni relations.
The school leadership and alumni association jointly look forward to hosting this grand event, which promises to be a celebration of memories, mentorship, and meaningful collaborations.
