Gwalior: Hard work done in the right direction never fails. If efforts are made in the right direction for the progress of oneself and one’s family, then happiness definitely comes in the family. A living example of this is Mrs. Radha Sen, resident of village Gohinda of development block Bhitarwar.
Mrs. Radha received money in the form of group loan not only once but thrice from the State Rural Livelihood Mission for the well-being of her family and brought happiness in her life by first doing goat rearing, buffalo rearing and then salon work. Mrs. Radha Sen also remains an example of women empowerment.
Mrs. Rekha Sen tells that I am a member of Bhumi Ajivika Self-Help Group. I first took one thousand rupees for goat rearing through the group, which I returned with interest and again took 60 thousand rupees for buffalo rearing through which I earned 6000 rupees per month.
She said that after this, I took a loan of one lakh rupees to open a salon shop for my husband and family and started the salon shop in the village itself. Through this shop, the family has started earning about 6 thousand rupees per month. My family is living on the said amount. Due to continuous and hard work, more income will also start coming. Due to Aajeevika Mission, happiness has come into my life.
