On the eve of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti, Madhya Pradesh has received the gift of Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Kota-New Delhi 20155/56 Express, through which connectivity with the state capital Delhi will improve. CM Mohan Yadav said he economic and social development of the state will get a boost and passengers will be able to get smooth, convenient and affordable travel.
Express number 20156 will depart from New Delhi daily at 23.25 hrs and will cover the 848 km journey in approximately 13 hours via Kota, Nagda, Ujjain, Dewas and Indore and reach Dr. Ambedkar Nagar the next day at 12.50 pm. Express number 20155 will depart from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar daily at 15.30 hrs and reach New Delhi at 4.25 am.
CM Mohan Yadav thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav and Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla for this new train.
CM Mohan Yadav said that the people of Ujjain, Indore will also get connectivity to the capital Delhi through this rail service. He informed that through Amrit Station Yojana, 80 stations of the state will be made world class at a cost of Rs 2700 crore. The state will also get four semi high speed trains in the near future.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Kota New Delhi 20155/56 Express on the eve of Ambedkar Jayanti through video conferencing. Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur, Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and Rajya Sabha MP Ms. Kavita Patidar were also present on this occasion.

डॉ. अंबेडकर जयंती की पूर्व संध्या पर मध्य प्रदेश को डॉ. अंबेडकर नगर-कोटा-नई दिल्ली 20155/56 एक्सप्रेस की सौगात प्राप्त हुई है जिसके माध्यम से प्रदेश की राजधानी दिल्ली से कनेक्टिविटी बेहतर होगी. मुख्यमंत्री डॉ मोहन यादव ने कहा है कि प्रदेश के आर्थिक और सामाजिक विकास को गति मिलेगी तथा यात्रियों को सुगम, सुविधाजनक और किफायती यात्रा प्राप्त हो सकेगी।
एक्सप्रेस क्रमांक 20156 नई दिल्ली से प्रतिदिन रात 23.25 बजे चलेगी और 848 किलोमीटर का सफर लगभग 13 घंटे में तय कर कोटा, नागदा, उज्जैन, देवस और इंदौर के रास्ते डॉ अंबेडकर नगर अगले दिन दोपहर 12.50 बजे पहुंचेगी। एक्सप्रेस क्रमांक 20155 प्रतिदिन डॉ अंबेडकर नगर से दोपहर 15.30 बजे चलकर सुबह 4.25 बजे नई दिल्ली पहुंचेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने कहा कि देवस, इंदौर और उज्जैनवासियों को भी इस रेल सेवा से सुविधाजनक समय पर राजधानी दिल्ली से कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि अमृत स्टेशन योजना के माध्यम से प्रदेश के 80 स्टेशनों को 2700 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से विश्वस्तरीय बनाया जाएगा। प्रदेश को निकट भविष्य में चार सेमीहाई स्पीड ट्रेन भी प्राप्त होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से डॉ अंबेडकर नगर कोटा नई दिल्ली 20155/56 एक्सप्रेस को हरी झंडी दिखाकर शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर लोक सभा अध्यक्ष श्री ओम बिड़ला, केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव, केंद्रीय महिला और बाल विकास राज्यमंत्री श्रीमती सावित्री ठाकुर, इंदौर सांसद श्री शंकर लालवानी और राज्यसभा सांसद सुश्री कविता पाटीदार भी उपस्थित थीं।
