A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, and the Dattopant Thengadi Shodh Sansthan (DTSS) with the aim of integrating Indian knowledge traditions with technical and vocational education.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Chandra Charu Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, and Dr. Mukesh Mishra, Director of DTSS, in the presence of senior officials and faculty members from both institutions.
Under this partnership, initiatives such as the development of curricula and study materials based on Indian knowledge traditions, research, training, and seminars will be promoted. Additionally, academic collaboration and exchange between the faculty and researchers of both institutions will be encouraged.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Chandra Charu Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, stated that this collaboration between NITTTR Bhopal and DTSS is a significant initiative towards the scientific study of the rich knowledge sources of Indian traditions and their relevant application in modern technical education. It will provide teachers and researchers with the opportunity to understand and develop various aspects of Indian knowledge traditions within the context of contemporary science and technical education.
Dr. Mukesh Mishra, Director of DTSS, remarked that Indian knowledge traditions possess a rich legacy of harmony among knowledge, science, technology, nature, and society. This agreement will facilitate the advancement of discourse regarding Indian knowledge traditions on a broader scale through research and education. Both institutions will work together on research and the academic application of various facets of Indian knowledge.
Dr. P.K. Purohit, Head of the Department of Indian Knowledge Traditions, stated that through joint efforts, work would be undertaken to develop authentic and useful study materials related to Indian knowledge traditions and to disseminate them to students and teachers. Dr. Ramendra Singh, Dr. Alpana Giri Goswami, Dr. Sachin Tiwari, and other officials and staff members were present on this occasion.
