MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the State-Level Dhan Mahotsav in Seoni district on Wednesday, 1 July. During the programme, he will dedicate a series of development and farmer welfare initiatives to the district.
The event will feature the transfer of incentive assistance to Kodo-Kutki growers, the inauguration and foundation laying of 629 development works worth Rs 494.16 crore, and the distribution of benefits to beneficiaries under various government schemes.
CM Mohan Yadav will transfer Rs 2 crore 82 lakh 99,300 through a single-click initiative to the bank accounts of 3,941 Kodo-Kutki farmers across the state. The incentive, being provided at the rate of ₹1,000 per quintal, aims to promote the cultivation of Shri Anna (millets) and enhance farmers’ income.
A theme-based development exhibition will also be organised during the Mahotsav, showcasing initiatives of various departments. The exhibition will feature modern paddy sowing machinery, natural farming and model natural orchards, Custom Hiring Centres, GI-tagged and millet products, PMFME products, different varieties of mangoes, handicrafts and terracotta products made by self-help groups, minor forest produce, products of local entrepreneurs, nutrition displays, digital land records, the Krishika app, and information related to the Kisan Credit Card scheme. An attractive selfie point will also be set up for visitors.
