Bhopal: On the occasion of World Earth Day-2026, a special screening of the inspiring documentary Landfill Harmonic will be held on April 22 at 6:00 PM at the National Centre for Human Settlements and Environment (NCHSE).
Presented in collaboration with Cine’ Classic, the film tells the extraordinary story of children from a Paraguayan slum who create musical instruments out of waste and form the “Recycled Orchestra.”
Despite limited resources, under the guidance of a dedicated teacher, these children transform their lives through music and reach global stages.
The film is a powerful testament to resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of music. It also highlights important issues such as environmental conservation, waste management, and social inequality, closely aligning with the spirit of World Earth Day.
This screening will offer audiences not only an inspiring cinematic experience but also an opportunity to develop a more sensitive perspective towards the environment and society. Entry is free, and all film lovers and citizens are encouraged to attend and be part of this meaningful event.
