Bhopal: On the 32nd Foundation Day of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission, the Commission’s Brand Ambassador, Sarika Gharu, was honored for her outstanding services and innovative awareness campaigns at a special event held at the Election Bhawan in the state capital.
Chief guests present at the event included former Chief Election Commissioner O.P. Rawat, former State Election Commissioner R. Parshuram, State Election Commissioner Manoj Srivastava, and Secretary Deepak Singh. They presented Sarika Gharu with a citation and praised her work.
Sarika Gharu was honored for her active role in raising voter awareness and increasing public participation in the electoral process, especially in the paperless Panchayat by-elections. Through a puppet show, she presented the Commission’s paperless election system, the provision of EVMs to other states, and the success of the Election Mobile App in an engaging manner.
It is noteworthy that Sarika Gharu has been serving as the State Brand Ambassador of the State Election Commission for a long time. He has made many innovations to make voters in remote areas aware of their rights.
