MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will unveil the statue of Mata Shabari on February 8 at Sitamadhi Dham, Gandhiya village, in Jaisinghnagar, Shahdol district. Sitamadhi Dham lies on the Shri Ramchandra Pathagaman Marg. It is believed that Lord Shri Ram, during his exile, travelled from Ayodhya to Lanka via Chitrakoot and Dandakaranya, resting at 248 prominent locations along the route. Gandhiya village in Shahdol district is one of these identified sites.
According to belief, before entering Dandakaranya, Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Lakshman rested at Gandhiya village. Situated near the Madhya Pradesh–Chhattisgarh border, the village houses Mata Sita’s Rasoi and a Shri Ram Temple.
Inauguration of Newly Built Water Park in Dhanpuri
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate a Water Park constructed by Dhanpuri Municipal Council at a cost of ₹20 crore. The water park includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, and recreational facilities for children and youth. The swimming pool has been built in accordance with mini-Olympic standards.
