Bhopal: Under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, ABHA IDs will be created for all students studying in government colleges in the state. In this regard, the Higher Education Department has issued necessary instructions to the principals of all government colleges.
A nodal officer will be appointed in each government college for the creation of ABHA IDs. Additionally, two final-year students will be nominated as ABDM Champions, who will assist in the successful implementation of this initiative. The appointed nodal officer and ABDM Champions will be provided training by the Ayushman Bharat Mission.
The Higher Education Department has urged all government colleges to seriously follow the government’s instructions and prioritize the creation of ABHA IDs for students, so that students can directly connect with digital health services.
What is an ABHA ID?
An ABHA ID is a digital health ID. Through this, students can securely store all their health-related information, such as doctor’s prescriptions, test reports, and medication details, on a single digital platform. This ID will prove extremely useful in availing digital health services in the future.
