Two emerging boxers of Madhya Pradesh, Malika 48 kg category and Aman 90 kg category, have been selected for the Under-22 National Boxing Training Camp. This training camp will be held at Army Sports Institute (ASI) Pune from 12 to 30 July.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang expressed happiness over the selection of these promising players of Madhya Pradesh and sent best wishes to both the players.
Minister Sarang said that the selection of young players like Malika and Aman in the National Camp is a matter of pride for the state. I am confident that both these players will win medals for the country in the coming times and bring laurels to the state, he said.
The minister said this training camp organized in Pune will not only empower them technically, but also prove to be extremely useful for the preparation of the upcoming national and international tournaments.
