Bhopal: On the occasion of Constitution Day, the All India Bahujan Intellect Summit – 2024, Bhopal Chapter-1, will bring together intellectuals, activists, and social leaders to deliberate on the thought-provoking topic “India Without a Constitution.” The summit aims to explore the significance of the Constitution and its pivotal role in shaping Indian society.
Dr. (Major) Manoj Raje, a renowned social activist and thinker, emphasized: “The Constitution is the foundation of our society. It ensures justice, equality, and dignity for all. Imagining an India without a Constitution is akin to a ship without a rudder. We must reaffirm our commitment to constitutional values to ensure unity and safeguard the rights of the marginalized.”
Sanghamitra Gajbhiye, President of the Buddhist Women’s Awareness Forum, remarked: “This program will serve as a powerful platform to raise awareness among women about their rights and strengthen their role in society.”
Buddhist thinker Dr. Sahabrao Sadavarte highlighted the program’s importance for social justice, stating: “This summit is a crucial step towards achieving social justice. It will inspire society to embrace equality and inclusive development.”
Program convener and senior social activist Sunil Vorse stated: “The objective of this summit is to promote awareness of constitutional principles and encourage intellectual discourse on its relevance in today’s world.”
The summit will feature distinguished speakers, including: Ashok Wankhade, senior journalist and political analyst, Prof. D N Sandanshiv, eminent scholar and former member of the Law Commission of India; Badal Saroj, editor of Lokjatan and social activist.
The Chief Guest, former CM of Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP, Digvijaya Singh, will also share his insights.
