BHOPAL: The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, proudly secured First Prize at the prestigious 12th Vibrant India 2026 National Exhibition, held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the exhibition provided a prominent platform to showcase technological advancements and innovations aligned with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat @2047.
At the exhibition, NITTTR Bhopal prominently showcased its advanced semiconductor capabilities through a dedicated stall highlighting its state-of-the-art Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility.
The exhibits featured a diverse range of semiconductor packaging technologies, including Dual In-line Packages (DIP), Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) packages, MOSFET packages, metal packages, and Multi-Chip Modules (MCM). The institute also demonstrated its specialized innovations in microheater technology, including microheater masks and patterned microheaters on wafers fabricated using Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) technology.
The semiconductor packaging and microheater technology showcase was guided by Dr. P. K. Khanna, CTO (OSAT), whose strategic leadership has been instrumental in advancing these capabilities. Complementing the packaging solutions, the stall also featured precision semiconductor equipment, including a Bondpull Tester and a Wafer Mounter.
Dr. Ajay Shankar, CTO (CEL), provided leadership for the machinery showcase, while Dr. Hussain Jeevakhan made significant contributions to the demonstration of PVD technology.
The successful participation and achievement of NITTTR Bhopal were realized under the visionary guidance of Director Dr. C. C. Tripathi. The exhibition activities were coordinated and executed by a dedicated team led by Dr. A. S. Walkey (HoD), along with Prof. Seema Verma, Mr. Akhil Deo, Pranjal Singh, and Laxmikant Sahu.
Winning First Prize at this prestigious national exhibition is a significant recognition of NITTTR Bhopal’s commitment to technological excellence, indigenous semiconductor capabilities, and innovation-driven skill development.
