Gwalior: The arrival hall of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport resonated with the patriotic spirit of ‘Vande Mataram’ on Thursday as the airport launched its Passenger Service Campaign, aimed at making the travel experience smoother, more convenient and passenger friendly.
The campaign was inaugurated by Airport Director Lokesh Kumar Yadav in the presence of Terminal Manager Navindra Sikarwar and Media In-charge Bhanu Pratap Singh. The initiative will continue till October 10, while the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign will run till October 2.
Under the Passenger Service Campaign, airlines and other stakeholders are working together to streamline passenger movement and provide timely assistance and guidance. The collective singing of Vande Mataram marked the formal launch with airport officials, airline representatives and other stakeholders joining the programme.
The inauguration also showcased the richness of Indian culture through folk dances and traditional cultural performances, giving passengers a colourful cultural experience at the airport. Alongside passenger services, the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign will focus on cleanliness drives and awareness activities across the airport premises. The initiative seeks to involve passengers and stakeholders through active public participation to create a cleaner, healthier and more welcoming airport environment.
