BJP President Nitin Nabin announced his new team on Monday, comprising 13 vice-presidents and 8 general secretaries.
Smriti Irani has been appointed as a general secretary, while Vasundhara Raje has been named a national vice-president. B.L. Santhosh has become the General Secretary (Organization). The formation of Nitin Nabin’s team had been pending since he became the BJP President seven months ago.
The party has constituted this team with an eye on the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections; the team includes six office-bearers from UP.
Additionally, representation has been given to three leaders from Rajasthan, six from Delhi, four from Maharashtra, and two each from Uttarakhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Bengal, Kerala, and Bihar.
