Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will be the chief guest at the state-level International Tiger Day programme to be held at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
During the event, CM will inaugurate vehicles procured for wildlife conservation and visit an exhibition showcasing wildlife conservation initiatives. He will also release departmental publications, unveil teaser films on active wildlife management and felicitate Padma Shri awardees who are members of the State Wildlife Board.
CM Mohan Yadav will present awards to Forest Protection Committees, Eco Development Committees, Village Forest Committees and forest personnel for their outstanding contribution to wildlife conservation. Cultural performances by school and college students will also be held during the programme.
Minister of State for Forest and Environment Dilip Singh Ahirwar, Principal Secretary (Forest), Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), and officers and staff of the Forest Department will attend the event.
