Kalanjali, Bhopal’s premier institution dedicated to Indian classical dance and traditional performing arts, has announced the 27th edition of its flagship annual cultural festival, the Kalanjali Kalotsav. Scheduled to be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the prestigious Hamsadhwani Sabhagar, Ravindra Bhawan, the much-awaited event marks twenty-seven remarkable years of Kalanjali’s unwavering commitment to preserving, nurturing, and promoting India’s timeless classical traditions.
Founded in 1998 by the distinguished Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Shri Pradeep Krishnan, Kalanjali has evolved from a dance institution into a vibrant cultural movement dedicated to shaping generations of artists and cultural ambassadors.
The 27th Kalanjali Kalotsav promises to be a spectacular showcase of artistic excellence, bringing together more than one hundred performers in an evening that celebrates the richness of Bharatanatyam, the vibrancy of Indian folk traditions, and the spiritual depth of classical music. Carefully curated and choreographed, the festival will present a diverse repertoire of performances reflecting years of dedicated training and artistic refinement. Through expressive storytelling, intricate rhythmic patterns, graceful movements, and evocative musical compositions, the young artists of Kalanjali will transport audiences into the timeless world of Indian cultural heritage.
