The Placement Cell of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) College has set a new benchmark with an outstanding performance during the academic session 2025-26. This year, the college secured its highest-ever placement package of Rs 7.60 lakhs, a figure that reflects the industry’s growing confidence in the institution.
Ten new companies were added to the roster during this placement season, thereby significantly expanding the scope of opportunities available to students. This time, industry giants such as ASSA ABLOY, Lenskart, South Indian Bank, Godrej, D-Mart, CG Power Ltd., Accenture, PwC, Deloitte, RSPL Group, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Azim Premji Foundation, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra participated in the drive. Several companies visited the campus for the first time and lauded the professionalism demonstrated by the students.
Recruiters arrived from diverse sectors including IT, FMCG, FMCD, Banking, Insurance, Audit & Consultancy, and Retail. Consequently, students across all programs—including BPES, B.Ed., and M.Com.—secured employment opportunities commensurate with their qualifications. BPES students secured opportunities at the Imperial Sports Academy, Mumbai, while M.Com. students were selected by companies such as Deloitte, D-Mart, and CG Power Ltd.
Principal Dr. Father John P.J. stated that this success is the result of the students’ dedication combined with the guidance provided by the faculty.
Vice Principal Dr. Leema Jacob noted that the college’s focus on holistic development is yielding tangible results.
Dean of Academics Dr. Father Jomi Panithas emphasized the importance of instilling strong values alongside professional skills. PRO Dr. Manju Mehta highlighted that the positive feedback received from the new recruiting companies has further enhanced the college’s reputation. Placement Head Mr. Ashwani Gupta remarked that, this year, the diversity of opportunities—along with the placement numbers and package values—has been truly exceptional.
Following this stellar placement record, the college has also witnessed a significant surge in inquiries regarding admissions.
