As part of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative, run by the Directorate of Public Instructions, a group of children from 14 districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, and Sagar divisions departed Bhopal for an educational tour to Nagaland.
Additional Project Director, Manisha Setia, flagged off the children. The children will study the culture of Nagaland and observe its educational activities.
The Central Government’s “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” scheme is being implemented with the aim of encouraging students from one state to travel to another state and participate in educational activities, diverse cultures, and events.
Manipur and Nagaland have been selected as “pairing states” for Madhya Pradesh in the 2025-26 academic year. Next month, 110 students and selected teachers from across the state’s districts will be taken on a tour of Nagaland.
