On the occasion of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday (October 11), India’s popular Hindi OTT platform Ultra Play OTT is organizing a grand film festival titled “Big B’s Blockbusters for an entire month . This festival will be dedicated to the legendary actor’s amazing film journey.
This month-long festival will re-introduce Amitabh Bachchan’s memorable films from four decades – from the angry young man of the 1970s to the mature and profound characters of today. Audiences will be able to enjoy popular films like Don, Namak Haram, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Coolie, Mard, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Cheeni Kum, Wazir and Teen Patti.
The festival will also be accompanied by a special digital campaign titled “The Bachchan Era” , which will showcase four phases of his career on social media – the ‘angry young man’ of the 1970s , the ‘masala hero’ of the 1980s, the ‘sophisticated gentleman’ of the 1990s and 2000s, and the intense and serious actor of the modern era.
