The Commerce Club of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences celebrated creativity and tradition through its Festive Expressions – A Rangoli making Competition. The competition drew 47 enthusiastic entries from students, presenting intricate patterns in Floral, Color, Kolam, and Mandana styles. The corridor turned into a vibrant display of artistry, reflecting both cultural heritage and youthful imagination.
Participants were judged based on appearance and appeal, details and clarity, and creativity. The distinguished jury consisted of Dr. Damandeep Kaur Gulati and Ms. Prabha Biju ,who praised the participants for their innovation and aesthetic presentation.
The vibrant contest reached its peak with the announcement of winners who were awarded with cash prizes. Ms. Purva Agarwal emerged as the star, lifting the first prize for her stunning creation. Close behind, Ms. Nishtha Sahu impressed the judges to claim the second prize, while Ms. Shivani Namdeo added grace to the list of achievers by securing the third prize. Their artistry lit up the event, making Festive Expressions a true celebration of talent and tradition.
The prizes were distributed by Dr. Sr. Leema Jacob, Vice Principal, Fr. Jomi Panithas,Dean (Academics) and Dr. Ashish Dilraj, HOD , Department of Commerce . They congratulated the winners and wished continued success to all the participants and the members of the commerce club. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Neetu Jain, Club In-charge, and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice President of the Commerce Club.
