In a world constantly fed with speeches on democracy, peace and justice, the actions of global powers betray their own words. The harsh reality is that the so-called “world order” is not driven by ethics or international law, it is dictated by power, propaganda and prejudice. Nowhere is this more evident than in the cases of Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Gaza and the role of the United States and Israel.
Pakistan: A Nuclear State Built on Terror
Let’s begin with Pakistan, a nation that has become synonymous with state sponsored terrorism. From sheltering Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad to exporting jihad across South Asia, Pakistan has operated as a global breeding ground for extremist ideologies. Despite these facts, it continues to possess a powerful nuclear arsenal, often maintained with questionable transparency.
One of the most horrific illustrations of Pakistan’s terrorist agenda was the barbaric terror attack on innocent Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where unarmed civilians on a religious journey were massacred. What kind of nation arms and funds such cowardly acts against spiritual gatherings? And yet, the world remains silent.
Why? Because Pakistan serves as a strategic pawn in larger geopolitical games, especially during the Cold War and the post-9/11 era.
Contrast that with India, a democratic nation that has developed its nuclear program with discipline, restraint, and under a clear doctrine of “No First Use.” India does not harbor terrorists nor does it blackmail the world with nuclear threats. Yet, India is often scrutinized more harshly than Pakistan simply because it does not follow Western scripts.
Iraq: Destroyed for a Lie
Then comes Iraq, a nation that paid the ultimate price for a lie. The 2003 US invasion was based on false intelligence about weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). No such weapons were found. Yet, an entire nation was ravaged, its infrastructure destroyed and millions of innocent lives lost. What the West labeled as “liberation” was nothing short of an unauthorized, inhumane act of aggression, a war crime against humanity, carried out to serve Western geopolitical and economic interests.
Iran: Demonized for Defiance
The US invasion of Iran’s airspace and territory through drone strikes, cyber warfare (like the Stuxnet virus), and the assassination of scientists like General Qasem Soleimani are not acts of diplomacy they are systematic violations of a sovereign nation’s dignity. What gives one nation the authority to decide who can and cannot pursue peaceful nuclear development?
Ironically, Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and yet it faces relentless sanctions and global pressure. Why? Because Iran refuses to bow to Western hegemony. It is punished not for breaking the law but for asserting its independence.
Gaza: A Silent Genocide And what about Israel?
The world watches in silence as Gaza is bombed repeatedly, with innocent children, women and civilians dying in droves. Families are displaced. Neighborhoods are reduced to ashes. Under the banner of “self-defense,” Israel’s unchecked aggression has crossed all lines of humanity. Schools, hospitals, refugee camps nothing is spared. And yet, instead of being held accountable, Israel receives weapons and diplomatic protection.
The message from the so called civilized world is clear: some lives matter more than others.
The Bitter Truth, When a state kills millions in the name of “freedom” but refuses to acknowledge its own crimes, it is not defending democracy, it is enforcing a new age of imperialism.
- The international nuclear regime is built not on fairness, but on fear.
- Pakistan, despite its open ties with terrorism, is allowed nuclear weapons.
- Iraq was obliterated based on lies.
- Iran is isolated for asserting its sovereignty.
- Israel, an undeclared nuclear state, commits daily atrocities in Gaza with impunity.
- This is not justice. This is organized hypocrisy.
The Call for a Just World Order
If humanity is to move forward, we must stop weaponizing morality, religion and law for political convenience. The lives of children in Gaza, the sovereignty of Iran and the spiritual dignity of pilgrims in Pahalgam matter just as much as oil pipelines or power alliances.
Peace cannot come through bombs, lies, and silence, it must come through truth, accountability and equal respect for all nations and people.Until then, the world order will remain a stage of selective outrage, where war criminals wear suits and victims are labeled terrorists.
The system is not always fair but it is shaped by power, politics and perception more than principles alone.
