Bhopal: ‘Riwaz 2026’, organized by the ‘Aakar Women for Women Club’ at Hotel Jehan Numa Palace, emerged as a powerful celebration of Indian culture, women’s empowerment, and social awareness.
Distinguished personalities, women, and children from the city participated enthusiastically in this event, which beautifully blended traditional values with modern thinking.
The entire program witnessed a remarkable confluence of fashion, emotion, creativity, and confidence.
The event kicked off with the ‘Kidz Runway,’ which won the hearts of the audience. Around 30 children showcased outfits on the ramp created by reimagining old garments with fresh creativity; some transformed their mothers’ sarees into modern attire, while others presented school uniforms in a novel style.
This unique presentation by the children conveyed the message that old resources can be given a new lease of life through creative thinking. The auditorium resonated with thunderous applause, celebrating their innocent charm, confidence, and colorful performances.
Chief Guest Hariom Jatiya (Managing Director, Excellence Time Entertainment), along with Aruna Sudhesh Rai, Club President Mohbib Unnisa, and Aakasha Ahmed, graced the occasion with their presence.
Expressing Life’s Various Stages
Subsequently, in the ‘Riwaz-e-Nari‘ segment, 45 women expressed the various stages of their lives through a ramp walk. The presentation artistically depicted the life journey from being a daughter to a wife, a mother, and a successful professional woman.
The participants conveyed the message that today’s woman successfully balances family responsibilities while giving equal priority to her health, self-respect, and career. This presentation emerged as a powerful symbol of women’s self-reliance and the changing social landscape.
The ‘Beyond Riwaz’ segment honored businesswomen who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields. This platform provided successful women with an opportunity to share their experiences and network with one another.
The organizers stated that the initiative aims to connect women, gain recognition for their work, and inspire the next generation. The event’s showstoppers—Seema Vishwakarma, Rishita Ahuja, Sonam Singh, and Sophia—captivated the audience with their impressive ramp walk.
