Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday witnessed a breathtaking flypast by the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team on the auspicious occasion of the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav.
The Prime Minister highlighted that the magnificent confluence of pride and valour in the skies spread the aura of saffron and the tricolour over the Somnath Temple. Modi further noted that this spectacular sight and spirit of Bhakti (reverence) and Shakti (power) filled every heart with deep joy and made every Indian proud.
In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister wrote:
“In Somnath today, the skies witnessed a magnificent confluence of pride and valour. The Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Team showcased a breathtaking flypast. This spirit of Bhakti and Shakti filled every heart with deep joy.”
Esrlier, PM Modi visited the Somnath Temple and expressed feeling blessed on the occasion marking 75 years since the rebuilt temple opened its doors for devotees.
The Prime Minister noted his divine experience upon arriving at the holy shrine of Somnath on the 75th anniversary of the rebuilt temple’s inauguration. He highlighted that seeing the immense energy and enthusiasm of Lord Somnath’s devotees along the temple path left him overwhelmed and emotional.
PM Modi stated that he is reliving the very moment today that India’s first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ji, must have experienced during the inauguration of the rebuilt temple. He further added that the devotional atmosphere of the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav is infusing an amazing energy all around.
