Kumari Ayushi Datla—a Class 10 student at the PM-SHRI School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Thandla, in Jhabua district, and daughter of Ravindra Datla—was felicitated by Collector Dr. Yogesh Tukaram Bharsat upon her selection for the prestigious ‘Yuvika’ Scientist Program, organized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
This program is conducted with the objective of encouraging and inspiring the nation’s meritorious students in the fields of space science, research, and technology at an early stage. The student’s selection was based on a national-level competition, marking a matter of pride and achievement for the Jhabua district.
Extending his best wishes to the student, Collector Dr. Bharsat wished her a bright future and remarked that the district’s talented individuals are making their mark at the national level, serving as an inspiration for other students as well.
The school fraternity, parents, and local residents also expressed their joy over the student’s achievement. Providing further details, the school Principal, P.C. Kanav, informed that the student will travel to the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota for a 12-day special training program, where she will gain practical insights related to space science and various modern technologies.
