To enhance the mental development and learning capacity of children, the NGO Create Stories organized a special ‘Brain Gym’ session at the Government School in Sanawadiya village inIndore. During the session, Child and Clinical Psychologist Dr. Vini Jharia interacted with the students and taught them the art of mental exercises.
From Physical Balance to Mental Growth
Dr. Jharia explained that ‘Brain Gym’ is an activity-based technique that integrates the neurological, sensory, and motor systems. This approach boosts concentration and allows children to focus on their studies without stress. She noted, “When the body is balanced and calm, the brain learns better.”
