Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that coordinated efforts will be made to beautify the capital’s glorious past. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Bhoj-Narmada Gate was held on the completion of one thousand years of the reign of the great King Bhoj. The groundbreaking ceremony for the gate to be built in the name of the great Emperor Vikramaditya will be held on the completion of two thousand years of his rule in the capital. Nine such gates will be built on various roads in Bhopal in the name of great men.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made this statement on Saturday at a felicitation ceremony organized by MLA Rameshwar Sharma and the citizens of the Huzur Assembly constituency at Samatva Bhavan.
CM Mohan Yadav said the grand gates to be constructed in the capital will showcase various great men and their legacies. He said that Lord Shri Ram is smiling in Ayodhya with the joy of Kashi is mingled, and Mahakal is filled with the essence of Mahalok. He said that Lord Shri Krishna received his education in Madhya Pradesh. Acharya Sandipani’s ashram is a heritage of Madhya Pradesh. The friendship between Lord Shri Krishna and Sudama is a prime example of friendship between rich and poor. Emperor Vikramaditya’s remarkable model of good governance was presented to everyone. Today, Emperor Vikramaditya is known worldwide for his good governance. Gates will be built to revive Emperor Ashoka and the world-famous heritage site of Sanchi.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has presented a new model of development. The capital of Raja Bhoj has been given pride of place. Now, upon entering the city of Raja Bhoj, Bhopal, people will witness cultural splendor.
Dr. Yadav previously performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bhoj-Narmada Gate and will now perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vikramaditya Gate on December 13th, marking the completion of two years.
