Gwalior: Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Gwalior, celebrated its annual fest “Mosaic of Hope” under EVITA–2025 on Friday, 14 November 2025, with an impressive showcase of enthusiasm, cultural vibrance and creative brilliance across the campus.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thaikattil, Bishop of Gwalior; Guest of Honour Rev. Sr. Anne Jose, Former Provincial, Northern Province, Manager Rev. Sr. Tessy Maria, Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya Wako,Vice Principal Rev. Sr. Noella and School Coordinator Ms. Usha Singh.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thaikattil encouraged students to embrace value-based education, discipline and a positive approach to life, emphasizing that cultural platforms play a vital role in nurturing confidence and leadership skills among young learners.
Guest of Honour Rev. Sr. Anne Jose highlighted that learning extends beyond books, and every stage performance becomes a medium to reveal children’s hidden talents, appreciating the collaborative efforts of students and teachers.
Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya Wako elaborated on the theme “Mosaic of Hope,” stating that each child represents a unique color and together these colors create a future filled with unity, humanity, and hope.
The event featured captivating dance, music and theatrical presentations on the theme “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” bringing an artistic portrayal of time’s journey. Traditional folk dances, cultural displays and contemporary performances mesmerized the audience.
The Annual School Report was presented with confidence and clarity by Head Girl Rudrapriya Dandotia and Sports Captain Rashi Chauhan, outlining academic achievements, sports excellence, cultural initiatives and social outreach activities of the year.
Meritorious students were also felicitated on the occasion. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sports Captain Rashi Chauhan, who expressed gratitude to all distinguished guests and praised the dedication, discipline and creativity of the students and staff.
