A review meeting of the Official Language Cell was organized recently at NITTTR, Bhopal. The meeting was chaired by Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi. In the meeting, the efforts being made by various departments for the promotion and use of official language Hindi were reviewed.
On this occasion, Prof. Tripathi said that there is a deep connection between Hindi and Indian culture—Hindi literature and art have enriched Indian culture, it has preserved traditional values and played an important role in strengthening the national identity; hence the use of Hindi will not only increase administrative efficiency, but it will also strengthen our cultural heritage.
He said a positive change should be brought in the institution by implementing the official language work on the ground. He urged all the officers and employees to use Hindi as much as possible in office work and make it practical. In the same sequence, he also mentioned that along with books on science, engineering and technology, rich Hindi literature is also available in the library of NITTTR Bhopal. By reading the Hindi books the employees can not only increase their language proficiency but can also develop the habit of reading. In the meeting,
Coordinator of Official Language Department Prof. P.K. Purohit highlighted the progress made so far, achievements and future plans in the direction of official language work.
In the meeting, representatives of various departments including Dean Administration R.K. Dixit, Major Nishant Ojha, Mr. Gautam Kumar, Mr. Sanjay Tripathi, Mrs. Babli Chaturvedi participated. On this occasion, it was also announced that the employees who made excellent contribution in official language work would be honored. At the end of the meeting, it was clarified by the institute that regular training programs, workshops and competitions will be organized to promote the use of official language Hindi, so that a strong official language culture can be created.
