The ‘Mobile Court’ initiative of the Revenue Department in Guna district has received the prestigious SKOCH Award under the ‘Foundation of Inclusive Growth’ category at the 109th SKOCH Summit 2026 held in New Delhi. The award was presented to Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal and received on his behalf by SDM Amit Soni and Tehsildar Devdutt Goliya in New Delhi. The initiative reflects the Guna district administration’s focus on innovation and citizen-centric service delivery.
Resolving Land Disputes at Citizens’ Doorstepp: Implemented under the guidance of Collector Shri Kanyal, the ‘Mobile Court’ initiative brings the administration to citizens’ doorsteps to resolve land-related cases and disputes promptly on the spot. More than 424 cases have been resolved through the initiative so far, including several long-pending disputes settled through mutual consent among the parties.
On-the-Spot Hearings Provide Relief: Through the ‘Mobile Court’, Revenue and Police Department officials visit the spot to hear and resolve cases. This has reduced the need for citizens to repeatedly visit government offices to seek resolution of their grievances. Time-bound disposal has also helped reduce land-related disputes and contributed to maintaining law and order.
Innovation-Driven Governance: The initiative has improved access to administrative services and provided a practical mechanism for resolving local land disputes. The district administration continues to work towards making public services more effective, accessible and responsive to citizens.
