Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the State Government is making all necessary arrangements to promote Madhya Pradesh’s rich Sanatan cultural heritage. The holy month of Sawan is a period of devotion and worship of Lord Shiva, and the enthusiasm of Kanwariyas carrying the sacred waters of Narmada is unparalleled. The Sanskar Kanwar Yatra symbolises religious and cultural traditions, faith and social unity.
He said, “May devotion to Lord Shiva bring happiness, peace and prosperity to the region and make the lives of the people of Madhya Pradesh prosperous and blessed.”
CM said adequate facilities are being provided to Kanwariyas, while facilities at religious and pilgrimage sites across the State are also being developed.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said the Sanskar Kanwar Yatra, which began in Sanskardhani, Jabalpur, is a remarkable spiritual journey, with thousands of Kanwariyas walking the path of devotion alongside the revered Dada Guru. He said that Dada Guru has been leading a disciplined life, surviving only on Narmada water after giving up food. His sacrifice and penance are exemplary for all.
Chief Minister welcomed and felicitated Kanwariyas participating in the Sanskar Kanwar Yatra in Jabalpur by showering flowers on the second Monday of Sawan. He also joined the yatra carrying a Kanwar alongside Dada Guru and addressed the Kanwariyas and devotees present on the occasion.
