Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister, Rajendra Shukla, grandly inaugurated three new colleges belonging to the ‘Pentium Point Group of Institutions’ in Rewa. On this occasion, he also inspected the Inter-University West Zone Women’s Kho-Kho Championship being held on the campus and encouraged the participating players.
The program commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Rajendra Shukla, marking the formal operational launch of the Pentium Point College of Pharmacy, Pentium Point College of Management, and Pentium Point College of Law.
Following the inauguration, Shukla toured the newly constructed campus, observing the modern amenities and seminar halls available there. Extending his best wishes to the institute’s Chief Managing Director, he remarked that this fully equipped campus would prove to be a milestone for the bright future of the region’s students and would elevate the standards of higher education to new heights.
The Deputy CM interacted with the players participating in the Kho-Kho tournament. Appreciating the girls’ excellent performance on the field, he stated that their spirit and skill demonstrate that today’s daughters are at the forefront in every field. During the event, former MLA K.P. Tripathi also praised the institute’s systematic operations, security, and cleanliness, describing the environment as entirely conducive for students.
This grand event is being organized under the joint aegis of the Pentium Point Group of Institutions and the Department of Physical Education at Awadhesh Pratap Singh University. A total of 65 teams from various states—including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh—are showcasing their talent in this competition.
During the ceremony, the institute’s Chief Managing Director, B.N. Tripathi, honored Rajendra Shukla and other distinguished guests by presenting them with shawls, shrifals, and mementos. Expressing pride in the achievements of these young women, he noted that today’s daughters are actively participating in sports alongside fulfilling their traditional responsibilities. He added that their mental and physical concentration in a demanding sport like Kho-Kho is truly praiseworthy.
On this occasion, former Indian cricketer Ishwar Pandey, All India Universities Association observer Kavita Kolgade, and Prof. Rambhushan Mishra—Director of the Department of Physical Education at APSU—were present, alongside Dr. Sunita Singh, Dr. Pankaj Singh, Academic Director S.K. Tripathi, and several other dignitaries and social workers from the region.
